Boons
Over a 5-hour rest, you may spend unspent Boon Points (or BP) to gain or level up boons. There's a lot of different terminology related to boons:
Recharge: some boons have abilities that can be used a limited number of times. Once you use an ability the maximum number of times, you lose the ability to use it until the recharge condition is met.
Ability: many boons have features that can be used, often for a TS cost. These are mostly labeled as abilities, though if the wording is different doesn't change the function.
Boon Level: the amount of points you have in the boon/the level of the boon.
Spells: this is mostly a label for specific abilities, though it's primarily used for attacking abilities.
Stats: ([I], [V], [U], [A], [Q]) These can either refer to the stat or the modifier to the stat. Use your better judgement but I generally refer to the stat as the whole stat name and the modifier as the letter in brackets, though this is inconsistent. When applying to rolls use the modifier, when it comes to the number use the stat.
Ascendancy
Certain boons can exceed 3 levels to become even more powerful. This trait is listed in a given boon's page. A boon's ascendant levels cannot be taken until the character has reached a new set of requirements, so some characters may need to plan ahead and take prerequisites not just for the boon but also the ascendancy. BP can be spent as normal to purchase ascendant levels once the requirements have been fulfilled.
