Basic Rules
The GM is always right.
Whatever the GM says goes, regardless of what the rules of the system are. If you disagree with the GM, you might want to discuss it with them, but try to be polite. An unhappy GM is a trigger-happy GM.
5-hour rests.
Most abilities in this system recharge on a 5-hour rest. A 5-hour rest is 5 hours of uninterrupted sleep. Races that do not need to sleep must be relatively inactive during a 5-hour rest, so they cannot engage in combat, crafting, or foraging. At the end of a 5-hour rest, creatures are restored to their maximum HP.
If creatures go too long without sleeping, they may face fatigue. If a character goes 48 hours without taking a 5-hour rest, they gain 1 stack of fatigue, and then another every 24 hours they go before resting.
Eating and drinking.
Creatures need to each and drink to survive. If a creature goes 3 days without food or water, they gain 1 fatigue, and then another for every 24 hours they go without food or water.
Fatigue: (stacking debuff) creatures have -1 to all rolls for each stack of fatigue they have. If a creature has 3 or more stacks of fatigue, they have their maximum HP reduced to half. If a creature gains their 6th stack of fatigue, they die of exhaustion.
