Combat Master

Requirements: Warrior 2

You can use special maneuvers and combat styles to foil your opponents.

Level 1. You gain the following action:

Feint: (2 TS) You make a deliberately misaimed attack to bait out an unfortunate stance. Choose a creature within your weapon's attack range. The chosen creature must make an attack against you at -1 for each level you have in this boon (that is, -1 for each level, not an attack for each level) if you are within that creature's attack range. If the creature's attack misses, you may make a weapon attack against that creature for 0 TS. Attacks you make as part of this action have +1 to hit for each level you have in this boon. If you are not within that creature's attack range, nothing happens.

Level 2. Whenever you hit with an attack roll, you may move up to 1 unit for 0 TS. This movement does not provoke interruptions.

Level 3. You gain the following action:

Powerful Strike: (3 TS) You may only take this action if you have already hit a creature this round. Make an attack against a creature within your weapon's attack range. If you hit, you deal an additional 1d4 damage for each level you have in this boon. You may only use this action up to once per round.

Ascendant Combat Master

Ascendancy Requirements: Combat Master 3, Warrior 3, any two other martial boons at level 3

You have mastered many weapons and wield them more skillfully than any ordinary warrior.

Level 4. You gain the following action:

Disarming Strike: (3 TS) Make an attack against a creature at -2. If you hit, instead of dealing damage, you can hit a creature's main hand and cause them to drop their weapon. If you hit, you damage the creature's main hand and that creature cannot wield a weapon with it until it finishes a 5-hour rest. You may use this action twice before having to recharge it with a 5-hour rest.

Level 5. You gain the following action:

Thrown Strike: (3 TS) You can throw your weapon to a great distance, even if it normally isn't a thrown weapon. Make an attack roll at a range of 6 units. If the attack hits, it deals 1d6 damage for each level you have in this boon. The weapon is then instantly reduced to 0 durability, but it can be repaired.

Level 6. Actions from this boon cost 1 less TS to use.
