Pyrokinetic
Requirements: Mage 1, [I] 10+
You can manipulate the power of fire.
Level 1. If a creature is hit by a spell from this boon and will take damage at the end of a round, you may treat that creature as though it had a flame stack until it takes that damage. You gain the following spell:
Fireball: (MP cost 2, 3 TS) Make an [I] spell attack against a target within 6 units, (must have line of sight) if you hit, the target takes 2d6 damage and an additional 1d4 damage at the end of the round.
Level 2. Whenever a target takes damage on your turn from a spell you cast, that creature gains 1 flame stack.
Level 3. You gain the following spell:
Firebolt: (MP cost 1, 2 TS) Make an [I] spell attack against a target within 5 units, if you hit, the target takes 1d4 damage.
Ascendant Pyrokinetic
Ascendancy Requirements: Mage 3, Pyrokinetic 3
You have mastered your use of fire magic beyond that of any normal mage.
Level 4. Flame stacks created by spells from this boon deal 1d4 damage instead of the usual 1.
Level 5. The first Firebolt spell you cast each turn costs 0 MP and 1 TS.
Level 6. You gain the following spell:
Explosion: (MP cost 9, 5 TS) Target a point within 7 units, you create a 3 unit radius explosion centered on that point. Each creature inside of the area must roll a dodge (your [I] plus spell attack bonus to succeed) 5 times or take 1d4 damage for each time they fail, and an additional 1d4 damage at the end of the round. The initial damage at from this spell is dealt at once, not as separate instances of 1d4. You may only cast this spell once per round. After you cast this spell, you may not cast spells for the rest of the round.
Flame: (stacking debuff) At the end of each round, a creature with a flame stack takes 1 damage for each flame stack they have and makes a [U] roll against 12, if they succeed they remove 1 flame stack and may roll again.
