Bladecaller
Requirements: Summoner 2
You can summon magical weapons to aid you in combat.
Level 1. Whenever you cast the Familiar spell, you may summon a weapon of your choice instead. The weapon may be of any of the nonmagical weapons listed on the equipment page aside from the Punch weapon. The weapon has +1 to hit and damage for each level you have in this boon. Weapons summoned by this spell hang in the air until a creature picks it up, which can only done by allies of the weapon's master. (a weapon may be picked up by a creature within 1 unit for 1 TS) The weapon is your familiar. While the sword does not move without use of a Warp Bolt spell, it effectively has flight.
Level 2. Creatures other than you that make an attack with a weapon that is your familiar may use your bonus to hit with that weapon instead of their own, their choice. In addition, whenever you deal damage with the Warp Bolt spell and teleport your weapon, you may make an attack with that weapon against the creature that was hit regardless of range, the attack is at +1 for each level you have in the summoner spell. Whenever you teleport a weapon with the Warp Bolt spell, an allied creature within 1 unit of the weapon's target location may spend 0 TS to pick up the weapon.
Level 3. Whenever a creature hits with an attack made by a weapon that is your familiar, You may spend any amount of MP (you must have enough MP to spend it) to have that attack deal 1d6 extra damage for each MP that was spent.
Master: (terminology) If a spell or boon ability denotes a creature as a familiar, the user is that creature's master.
Allies: (terminology) An ally or allied creature is determined by the creature in question when the ability in question is used. A creature is its own ally unless stated otherwise.
The familiar summoning rule: (rule) A creature can only have 1 familiar. If a creature gains another familiar, it must choose to dismiss one of them, instantly destroying it.
Flight: (movement) A creature with flight can move vertically by spending TS as though it was moving normally. For a more realistic game, creatures may require more space to take off or have to spend more TS to move up. A creature with flight does not fall.
