This is a racial boon, you cannot spend BP on the 1st level of it. It can only be obtained by being the race required.

Requirements: Automaton Race

You might pass as a human, but your body is not truly alive. Whether it be magic or clockwork beneath your facsimile skin, you have an increased resistance to the elements compared to that of your living contemporaries. 

Level 1. You no longer have to eat, breathe, drink, or sleep, however, you will need to be repaired. In order to benefit from a 5-hour rest and regain HP, you must repair yourself for one of pure metal x1, leather strap x1, or meat x1, this process takes the entire 5-hour rest for the materials to induct into your body, and at the end you are restored to your maximum HP. In addition, you may replace a crippled or removed body part by spending 5 hours, pure metal x2, leather strap x1, and meat x1, this includes internal organs and limbs, except for the brain, the removal of which will instantly kill you.

Level 2. You gain the following action:

Reconfigure: (5 TS) You may reduce one of your stats by 1 to increase another by 1. This change lasts until you finish a 5-hour rest. You may only use this action once before it must be recharged with a 5-hour rest.

Level 3. You can detach any of your limbs at will, this process does no damage to you, but does not undo damage taken through those limbs. Whenever you use the reconfigure action, you may choose a skill associated to the increased stat. You gain a +2 bonus to that skill until you finish a 5-hour rest. You may forage and craft during a 5-hour rest without interrupting it.
